Property Acquisitions
In July 2023, David partnered with one of QLD's leading Community Housing Providers, Coast2Bay Housing Group, to assist with the successful acquisition of 121 existing and/or former National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) properties.
With the prospect of low income earners currently living in NRAS properties facing displacement and homelessness with the scheme coming to an end, financial support from the State Government's Housing Investment Fund is being utilised to not only secure affordable housing stock on the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Gympie regions but more importantly, to enable eligible tenants to remain in their homes, many of which having lived there for 7-10 years
With additional funding being received under the NRAS Purchase Initiative, I look forward to partnering again with Coast2Bay Housing Group to secure a further 120 NRAS or former NRAS properties to again boost affordable housing stock.
